Breaking Free from Spiritweavers: A Path to Spiritual Liberation.

Bradley Wareley

Definition of Spiritweaver

A Spiritweaver is an individual who practices a form of spirituality that blends elements of mysticism, folklore, and cultural traditions to achieve a sense of power, control, or healing. They often utilise rituals, incantations, and mystical practices to connect with the spirit world, ancestors, or supernatural entities. Spiritweavers may claim to possess the ability to heal, protect, or guide others, but their practices can lead to bondage, deception, and separation from God.

Examples of Spiritweavers

* Sangomas (traditional healers in African cultures)

* Shamans (indigenous spiritual practitioners in various cultures)

* Hoodoo practitioners (rootworkers who use rituals and spells for healing or protection)

* Curanderos (Latin American folk healers who use spiritual and natural remedies)

* Qigong masters (practitioners who use breathing techniques and meditation to balance energy)

The Biblical Warning

The Bible warns against participating in spiritual practices that honour other gods or seek power from sources other than the One True God (Exodus 20:3, Deuteronomy 18:10-12). Spiritweavers, with their roots in paganism and idolatry, can subtly lead people away from the Truth of God's Word and into spiritual darkness.

The Family Connection

If Spiritweavers have been present in your family for generations, it can be a significant challenge to break free from their influence. However, as a child of God, you have the power to shatter the chains of spiritual bondage and experience liberation.

Understanding the Spiritweaver's Influence

  1. Spiritweavers often use their spiritual practices to control or manipulate others, claiming to have the power to heal or protect.

  2. They may use rituals, incantations, or mystical practices to connect with the spirit world, ancestors, or supernatural entities.

  3. Their practices can lead to bondage, deception, and separation from God, causing harm to themselves and others.

7 Steps to defeat spiritweavers and experience reedom

1. Recognize the spiritweaver's influence:

Acknowledge the presence of Spiritweavers in your family and their impact on your life. Understand how their practices may have affected your relationships, thoughts, and behaviors.

2. Repent and renounce:

Confess your involvement or exposure to Spiritweavers and renounce their influence in your life. This is an essential step in breaking the spiritual connection (1 John 1:9).

3. Seek forgiveness:

Ask God to forgive you and your ancestors for any involvement in Spiritweavers' practices. God is faithful to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

4. Renew your mind:

Submit your mind to God's transforming power, and let His Word be your guide (Romans 12:2). Study the Bible to develop a strong foundation in God's truth.

5. Wear the armor of God:

Put on the full armor of God to protect yourself from the spiritual attacks of Spiritweavers (Ephesians 6:10-18). This includes wearing the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, and the shield of faith.

6. Find freedom in Jesus:

Embrace the true power of Jesus Christ, Who has already defeated all forms of spiritual darkness (Colossians 2:15). Rest in the assurance that you are a new creation in Him (2 Corinthians 5:17).

7. Build a support network:

Surround yourself with believers who can support and encourage you as you walk in spiritual freedom. Regularly gather with them for prayer, Bible study, and fellowship (Hebrews 10:24-25).

Scriptural declarations

"I renounce all forms of Spiritweavers and their influence in my life. I declare that I am a child of God, forgiven and freed from all spiritual bondage." (1 John 1:9)

"I submit my mind to God's transforming power, and I choose to be guided by His Word rather than the influence of Spiritweavers." (Romans 12:2)

"I put on the full armor of God and stand against any spiritual attacks from Spiritweavers, knowing that I am more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ." (Ephesians 6:10-18)

Conclusion

Breaking free from the influence of Spiritweavers requires a deliberate choice to renounce their power and submit to God's authority. As you walk through these 7 steps, remember that spiritual liberation is a process. Be patient, stay rooted in God's Word, and trust that He is faithful to set you free from all forms of spiritual bondage.

May God's truth and power be your guide as you journey towards spiritual liberation!
