The Bible is an invaluable source of inspiration and guidance for believers and non-believers alike

  • From the beginning to the end, the Bible is filled with stories of ordinary people overcoming seemingly impossible obstacles.

  • These stories are not only meant to encourage us but also to help us learn valuable lessons that can help us break through the impossible barriers and achieve our goals.

In this post, we will explore some biblical lessons about breaking through the impossible and how they apply to our lives today.

The first lesson we can learn from the Bible about breaking through the impossible is to HAVE FAITH.

  • Faith is essential in our journey towards breaking through the impossible.

  • The Bible is full of acounts of people who achieved great things because they had faith in God.

  • Abraham had faith in God that he would become a father at the age of 100 and his descendants would be as numerous as the stars in the sky. Genesis 21:5

  • Moses had faith in God that he would lead the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt. Hebrews 11:23-29

The lesson here is that when we have faith, nothing is impossible.

The second lesson we can learn is to TRUST GOD'S PLAN.

  • The Bible teaches us that God has a plan for our lives, and His plan is always perfect.

  • In the book of Jeremiah, God tells Jeremiah that He has plans to prosper him and not to harm him, plans to give him hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

  • Sometimes, we may not understand why we are going through certain situations, but we have to trust in God's plan.

  • Joseph, for example, was sold into slavery by his brothers, but he ended up becoming the second-in-command to Pharaoh in Egypt. Exodus 37:18-36; Genesis 41:43

This shows us that no matter what we go through, God's plan will always prevail.

The third lesson we can learn is to PERSEVERE.

  • Breaking through the impossible requires perseverance.

  • The Bible illustrates its possible to face challenges and difficulties but never gave up.

  • David, for example, faced Goliath, the giant, but he did not give up because he knew God was with him. 1 Samual 17:32-54

  • Esther, on the other hand, faced the impossible task of convincing the king to spare the Jews, but she persevered and saved her people. Esther 8 & 9

We too must persevere in our journey towards breaking through the impossible.

The fourth lesson we can learn is to BE HUMBLE.

  • Humility is an essential trait to have in our journey towards breaking through the impossible.

  • In the book of Proverbs, we are told that "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before the fall." Proverbs 16:18

  • We see this in the story of Gideon, who started with an army of 32,000 men but ended up with only 300. Judges 7

  • God wanted to show him that it was not his strength that mattered but God's power.

We must remember to stay humble and give the glory to God when we achieve success.

The fifth lesson we can learn is to HAVE A STRONG SUPPORT SYSTEM.

  • Breaking through the impossible requires a lot of support.

  • The Bible teaches us that we are not meant to go through life alone.

  • We see this in the story of Moses, who had Aaron as his brother to support him and speak for him. Exodus 7

We too must have people in our lives who will encourage us and support us in our journey towards breaking through the impossible.

The sixth lesson we can learn is to BE OPTIMISTIC.

  • Being optimistic is essential in our journey towards breaking through the impossible.

  • The Bible teaches us that we should not be anxious or worried but instead trust in God. Philippians 4:6-7

  • We see this in the story of Daniel, who was thrown into the lion's den but remained calm and had faith that God would protect him. Daniel 6

The seventh lesson we can learn is to HAVE COURAGE.

  • Courage is vital in our journey towards breaking through the impossible.

  • The Bible teaches us that we should be strong and courageous and not be afraid or discouraged.

  • We see this in the story of Joshua, who was tasked with leading the Israelites after Moses died. Joshua 1:9

  • Despite the challenges he faced, he remained courageous and led the Israelites to victory.

We too must have courage in our journey towards breaking through the impossible.

The eighth lesson we can learn is to BE OBEDIENT TO GOD'S COMMANDS.

  • The Bible teaches us that God's commands are for our good, and when we obey them, we will be blessed. Deuteronomy 10:13

  • We see this in the story of Noah, who obeyed God. Hebrews 11:7

  • Similarly, we can also learn from the story of Abraham, who obediently followed God's command to sacrifice his son Isaac. Genesis 22:2-18

  • Though it seemed impossible and went against all human instincts, Abraham trusted in God's plan and obeyed.

  • As a result, God provided a ram for the sacrifice and blessed Abraham abundantly.

  • Obedience to God's commands may not always make sense to us, but we must trust that God knows what is best for us and follow His lead.

By doing so, we can break through the impossible and experience the blessings that come with obedience.
