1. There will be a LACK OF AWARENESS of what God has said about Jesus’ return.
Matthew. 24:37-39 and Luke 17:28
From these scriptures we highlight the phrases “Eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage” “buying and selling, planting and building" phrases indicate that in the season closest to the Rapture people on earth will be very with active with every day, normal matters. In other words, many will not be aware of the need to look out for His Return.
This indicates a lack of awareness of the urgency of Jesus’ Coming on the clouds.
Just like in the days of Noah where the people knew nothing about the flood that was coming even though they were warned for 120 years so it will be in the season leading up to the Rapture. People will know nothing about it, even though they are told about it, until it's on them, happening right before their own eyes but it will be too late!
2. There will be increase in FALSE CHRIST’S and PROPHETS.
In other words, many will come and say they are the Christ and others will say they are prophets of God but will lie to the people.
Matthew 24:23-24 “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ,’ or There He is,’ do not believe him. For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.”
3. There will be an increase LISTENING to DEMONIC SPIRITS and to teach their lies.
1 Timothy 4:1 “But the Spirit explicitly says that in latter times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons”
Become aware of spiritual liars of whom the source of their message is satan.
4. There will be a FOCUS ON SPIRITUAL LIARS who know how to stroke the ears of those who love them.
2 Timothy 4:3-4 “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths.”
5. There will be A HUGE NUMBER OF BELIEVERS WHO WILL FALL AWAY. It is listed in the bible as “falling away”, “rebellion”, “great rebellion”.
Falling away refers to those who believed the truth about Jesus, embraced it and preached it but then makes a choice to NO longer believe it. They make a conscious, intentional, purpose-driven and willing choice to no longer believe and turn their back and abandon truth and faith.
2 Thessalonians 2:3 “Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy (falling away) comes first, ….”
These are just some of the conditions that will control the hearts of humanity in the lead up to the Rapture of the Church.
