Other than the fact that the Antichrist will be revealed after the Rapture and be made known to all, an additional and perhaps more notable truth, is that he will bring about an unholy covenant (Peace treaty) with Israel. An unholy covenant because of all the covenants Israel had with God this one with Antichrist will be rooted in deceptive plans and most probably sprinkled in the blood of sacrifices offered to Satan.
In the world, as it is right now, Israel is going to be increasingly hated and slandered. This truth is not going to change. The current conflict in Israel is the tip of the iceberg for Israel. As time passes more and more nations are going to come in conflict with Israel, especially the Arab nations. This tiny nation is increasingly being manifested as central to biblical prophecy, with whom, in the end Antichrist will broker a peace deal (unholy covenant).
This Peace Deal will revolve around Antichrist ensuring the safety and wellbeing of Israel as outside nations continue to hate Israel. Daniel 9:27 states this in regard to the Peace Treaty. “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week, he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” This peace Treaty will be very important to Israel as its current biggest protector, USA, will no longer be the Superpower it currently is or in some way or the other will not have the capacity to protect Israel as it usually does.
Israel will enjoy Peace during the Peace Deal, and also the rest the world. However, this Peace Treaty will not last as three and a half (3½) years later Antichrist will break the treaty and make himself ruler of the worlds people. The Peace Treaty will therefore be a deceptive cover for Antichrist to place everyone at ease while he prepares for world dominion.
These bible texts refer to the Peace Treaty
* Isaiah 28:14-19 (v18) “Your covenant with death will be annulled”.
* Psalm 55:20-21 “war was in his heart”.
* Isaiah 33:7-9 “He has broken the covenant.”
In Isaiah 28:18, God refers to the Peace treaty that begins the tribulation as a “covenant with death,” an “agreement with hell.” We see clearly that the Antichrist who makes the covenant breaks it.
In conclusion, the Antichrist’s unholy covenant with Israel, as prophesied in the Bible, marks a significant turning point in the End Times narrative. This peace treaty, while initially bringing a deceptive sense of security and well-being, is ultimately a harbinger of greater conflict and tribulation.
The Antichrist’s rise to power and his subsequent breaking of the treaty after three and a half years reveals his true intentions of world dominion. This period of false peace serves as a cover for his preparations for this dominion, setting the stage for the trials and tribulations prophesied in the Bible.
The biblical references to this peace treaty, such as in Isaiah 28:14-19, Psalm 55:20-21, and Isaiah 33:7-9, underscore its significance and the profound impact it will have on the world, particularly on Israel.
As we continue to explore the prophecies of the End Times, let us remember the lessons these scriptures teach us. They serve as a stark reminder of the deceptive tactics of the Antichrist and the trials that await in the Tribulation.
