As indicated in the previous post, shortly after the Rapture a series of Judgments from God (not Antichrist) will be released onto the earth of which the people alive on earth will experience and which will cause the death of millions.
These Judgments I have called I have termed “Twenty-One Sevens and Three”.
Chapter 6 tells of the opening of the six Seals.
Chapter 7 deviates from Seals.
i) It reveals the sealing of the 144000 Jews which is 12000 from every Israelite tribe v4-8.
ii) It reveals that a great multitude of people that will come out the tribulation v14.
Chapter 8 gets back to the Seals and record the opening of the seventh Seal (8:1-2).
- Notice that the seventh Seal is in fact an introduction to the first of the Trumpets.
- Four of the seven Trumpets are sounded in Chapter 8.
- v13 introduces an Eagle that shouts with loud voice “Woe! Woe! Woe!”. indicating that the next 3 Trumpets will be very notable and increasingly worst experiences. Woe means, suffering, misery, mourning, sorrow.
Chapter 9 continues with the sounding of the Trumpets five and six.
- v12 informs us that the first Woe has passed when the fifth Trumpets end.
Chapter 10 deviates from the Trumpets and introduces the angel with the little scroll.
Chapter 11 continues with this deviation from the Trumpets by recording God’s two witness and the Seventh Trumpet is sounded closer to the end of the chapter v15-18.
- 11:14 informs us that at this stage the second Woe has passed and that the third Woe is on its way.
-The third Woe is then covered over a few chapters ending at the final destruction of Babylon which is the focus of the third Woe (destruction of Babylon).
Chapters 12 -14 records events unrelated to the Trumpets.
Chapter 15:1 - 16:12 reveals the pouring of six Bowls (vials). From Chapter 16:13-16 there is a slight deviation from the Bowls after which is the pouring of the last Bowl.
Please note the following
I. The seven Seals are OPENED (broken) by the Angels.
II. The seven Trumpets are SOUNDED by the Angels.
a) The Woes play out during the Trumpets and always covers a SERIES OF INTENSELY HARMFUL EVENTS.
III. The seven Bowls are POURED by the Angels.
In conclusion, the book of Revelation presents a complex and intricate series of events that unfold during the End Times. These events, represented by the opening of Seals, the sounding of Trumpets, and the pouring of Bowls, signify the divine Judgments from God that will be experienced by those alive on earth.
The narrative takes us on a journey through moments of intense tribulation, marked by the rise of the Antichrist, the sealing of the 144,000 Jews, the emergence of a great multitude from the tribulation, and the final destruction of Babylon. Each event, each deviation, and each Seal, Trumpet, and Bowl, contributes to the unfolding of God’s divine plan.
The Seals are opened, the Trumpets are sounded, and the Bowls are poured, signifying different stages of these divine Judgments. The Woes, which play out during the Trumpets, cover a series of intensely harmful events, marking the severity of these times.
As we delve deeper into the study of Revelation, let us remember the profound significance of these “Twenty-One Sevens and Three”. They serve as a stark reminder of the trials and tribulations that await in the End Times, but also of the ultimate fulfillment of God’s divine plan.
Thank you for joining me on this exploration of the End Times as depicted in the book of Revelation. As we continue this journey, may we find wisdom and understanding in these profound and complex scriptures. Until next time, may your studies bring you closer to the divine truth and fill you with awe for the grandeur of God’s plan.
